If your newscast or TV programming seems to be delayed compared to real-time, there's a good chance you may have paused your television at some point.

Many cable and streaming providers allow the user to pause live television for one hour. Whatever you're watching will usually resume after an hour, making your programming an hour behind.

The fix?

See if your remote has a LIVE button and press that and your programming should resume to being live again and the right time will display on the newscast.
